MAIN STREET PALM SPRINGS MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide a cohesive consensus building partnership of downtown stakeholders in order to implement specific programs and projects which will help strengthen the economic base and physical condition of the historic Village of Palm Springs in a timely and efficient manner.

Welcome to the official website of Main Street Palm Springs, the merchants' association of downtown Palm Springs and Palm Canyon Drive in beautiful Palm Springs!

Palm Canyon Drive is the very heart of  the city of Palm Springs. Here is where you'll find all the shops, galleries, restaurants and attractions that make Palm Canyon Drive a wonderful and memorable experience.

Tall, light-covered palm trees, gently shade the street as you stroll beneath majestic Mount San Jacinto. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. Palm Canyon Drive has something for everyone!

Stop by Palm Canyon Drive on Thursday nights for our very popular weekly event, Villagefest.

Locals and tourists alike come downtown to enjoy produce and flowers from the Farmer's Market and hear the wonderful music weaving throughout the downtown corridor. There are over 100 arts, crafts, and food vendors weekly.  While you're downtown be sure to check out the local shops and restaurants too! Many businesses stay open late on Thursday evenings for your convenience.

Look for the BOLT sign in the window.

Main Street is the Business Association of downtown and uptown Palm Springs. Some of the community projects we are involved in are:

February - All month.  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER Book Drive benefiting the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center. Books are collected throughout the downtown to be donated to the Unity Center.

November/December - Holiday Banner Program. This year over 500 entries were received for the Holiday Banner Program. 50 student artists will be chosen to paint their designs onto large 2 foot by 5 foot banners to be hung in beautiful downtown Palm Springs throughout the Holiday Season. Check back for a list of this year's banner painters.
